Writer's block

 

 

Try to write a poem

can not think

put aside my pen

pour another drink.

 

I ponder over thoughts

that are spinning through my mind

in the midst of all the ciaos

I'm alone I find.

 

Lost the inspiration

the passion, the insight

as I try attempt a poem

that I just can't seem to write.
